At Bialtec, we have a clear vision in this context: to transform the way we feed our animals and, consequently, ourselves.

Our Innovation in Animal Nutrition

At Bialtec, we take pride in being pioneers who proactively address these challenges. Our mission is to develop precision microbiomes that offer a viable alternative to the use of antibiotics as growth promoters. These microbiomes include probiotics, prebiotics, and other beneficial microorganisms for the intestinal health of animals, thus enhancing their well-being and performance without resorting to antibiotics.

Our contribution goes further: the microorganisms we develop are additives that ensure the production of clean protein*, something that antibiotic use cannot assure or guarantee.

*Clean protein refers to animal-derived proteins such as meat, milk, or eggs that are produced following practices and production standards that minimize or eliminate the presence of toxins, contaminants, or harmful residues for human health.

Sharing Our Vision at the Amsterdam Animal AgTech Summit

We are excited to share our vision and advancements at the Amsterdam Animal AgTech Summit, scheduled for October 10th and 11th. We believe that sharing knowledge and collaborating with other industry leaders is essential to drive innovation and sustainability in livestock production.

During the event, we will share our expertise in the fields of biotechnology and animal nutrition, demonstrating that it is possible to meet the growing demands for protein responsibly and with consideration for public health.

We firmly believe in the responsible use of biotechnology in animal nutrition as a key to ensuring a sustainable future for protein production. To date, we have positively impacted over 3 million animals in the past 3 years, which is equivalent to avoiding the use of more than 864 tons of antibiotics as growth promoters. These tangible results demonstrate that significant change is possible in the livestock production industry.
