In recent years, the rise of the 4th industrial revolution has led individuals and businesses to make decisions based on data collected from their processes.
However, pig farms, although they capture animal information, still lack structure and complete exploitation of historical data, affecting the quality of decisions. Therefore, the objective was to design a technology to capture zootechnical information in the field and store it in structured databases for analysis.
An automated form was created in Excel, and Power BI was used for modeling and analysis. The results include a database of 630 animals and interactive dashboards to facilitate decision-making. We conclude that this tool improves efficiency and robustness in decision-making.
Additionally, we are developing an option to capture information from the web, expanding the reach of the technology to improve the efficiency of pig farms.”
